This is not accurate drawing of the Mahisarurmardini but rather an inspiration work.
When Toofan Majumder visited Aihole , Karnataka in 2007 he did not have digital camera. The photo he took in kodak camera he could not verify before it was washed and printed. He found he missed the head of the goddess. When he painted this painting he had to imagine many of the weapons as in the actual sculpture those are missing/ eroded over time.

There, sprawling across the horizon, seeming to take up every inch of space, was a mountain of such power that I could scarcely breathe. Dusted pink by the rising sun, it pulled me in completely. I'd never seen anything so magnificant.

From my childhood travelling is my dream, the only true passion that I have. I have visited all those so called 7 wonders (Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China, Colosseum in Rome, Petra in Jordan, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Machu Picchu in Peru, Christ the Redeemer in Rio, Brazil) but I always believed the world doesn't just have 7 wonders, it has 70,000 wonders. Before I leave this planet I want to visit as many of them possible. I started exploring these wonders beginning at my home country in India - visited many interesting sites of India like - Taj Mahal, Agra, Delhi, Kashmir Valley, Golden temple of Amritsar and Vellore , Ajanta Ellora Elephanta Caves in Maharastra. Hampi, Jog falls, Sravanabelagola Gometeswara statue in Karnataka, Meenakshi , Tanjore, Gangaikondacholapuram etc temples in Tamil Nadu, Beaches in Goa, Backwaters in Kerala, Sundarbans, Darjeeling and teracotta temples of Bengal , Khajuraho, Bhimbetka and Sanchi stupas of Madhya Pradesh to mention a few.
Then I have started exploring the world - I have been to Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, USA, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Vatican City, Austria, Hungary, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Israel, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, China , Japan etc countries and I want to keep on travelling till my last day in this planet.
For a long time I wanted to share my travel stories to the world , my friend circle , my network etc. One of the objective in my life is to motivate others to make their journeys and the objective of this site is not only to have my stories but in future I also want to share all these people's stories in this platform as they share their happy moments with me. While in Facebook, Instagram, Youtube we have provision to share photos and videos but somehow I feel neither photo nor video can capture the true essence of the experiences we gain while travelling around the corners of the world - there is something inside us which is always upspoken , not even easy to explain in written words but through this platform we will make an effort to express those feelings through blogs, photos and videos as much as possible.
